Bernina Express
A unique train journey of approximately 5 hours linking the resorts of Davos or St Moritz to Tirano with a three-hour post bus connection to Lugano. The Bernina Express is the highest rail journey in Europe, climbing to an incredible 2253 metres above sea level and connects northern and southern Switzerland in a truly relaxed and uniquely beautiful way. This amazing experience, takes you on an unforgettable journey past impressive glaciers and the beauty of the Alps to the warm Mediterranean climate and relaxed ambience of the south. In the summer of 2008, the section between Thusis and Tirano was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Bernina Express runs from 1 May-31 Oct.

GoldenPass Line
Previously known as the Panoramic Express, The GoldenPass Line is a panoramic trip from Montreux to Interlaken and on to Lucerne, the full journey lasting just over five hours. From Montreux, an ascent through Les Avants and picturesque alpine scenery of the Simmen valley, takes you to Zweisimmen at a leisurely pace. Here, you will join the beautiful Panoramic Express train traveling to Interlaken Ost via Speiz. The final leg of your journey wanders past glistening lakes and the Giessbach waterfalls before it’s ascent to the Brünig Pass and down to Lake Lucerne. The GoldenPass Line runs from 1 May-31 Oct.

Glacier Express
A unique 8-hour journey from St Moritz or Davos across the Swiss Alps to Zermatt and the world famous Matterhorn.
The Glacier Express, the world’s slowest Express train, runs daily between St Moritz or Davos and Zermatt. The train climbs to an impressive 2033m via Oberwald and Realp offering dramatic mountain vistas and breathtaking scenery that will remain etched on your memory forever. There is the option to enjoy a relaxing lunch as you pass through alpine meadows, dramatic mountain peaks and deep gorges on the train in either the restaurant car or ‘in seat’ catering. Seat and lunch reservations must be made in advance. The Glacier Express runs from 1 May-31 Oct.

Wilhelm Tell Express
A six-hour journey on vintage paddle steamer and train linking Lucerne with the Ticino Lake region. The first part of the journey from Lucerne is a cruise by vintage paddle steamer, which takes you the length of the lake with commentary and a light lunch. Guests can also join the steamer at Weggis. After three hours, you will dock and transfer to a special train at Flüelen: with a series of great loops in and out of the mountainside, you climb up to Göeschenen at 1106m where you enter the St Gotthard tunnel. Then travel down the Leventina valley to Bellinzona (change here for Locarno and Ascona), then over the Monte Ceneri pass to Lugano. The Willhelm Tell Express runs from 1 May-17 Oct.
