WALKING
150km of marked and well maintained walks. A popular walk is the Rigi Lehnenweg on the lower slopes of Rigi with fantastic views of the lake, walking through woods and colourful meadows. Alternatively hike up to Rigi Kaltbad starting at 443m and finishing at 1438m! If you embark on the Rigi Kaltbad hike, visit the natural pool at the top with a small Kneipp foot spa facility.
NORDIC WALKING
Weggis has it’s own trail or from Mt.Rigi, there is a park with 4 trails. Poles can be hired from the Rigi railway stations.
SWIMMING
Public beach, and swimming pool.
TENNIS
There are sand courts in Weggis.
BIKES
Available to rent from the tourist information centre.
WATER SPORTS
Motor boats, canoes, pedaloes and hydrobikes available for hire from the pleasure marina Fishing Licences available from the tourist office. Day pass CHF15.
