The Hassenstein family offer a warm, friendly atmosphere at this popular hotel which stands on Interlaken's bustling main street opposite the popular Café Schuh. The Splendid is a  choice with it's Chimney Lounge providing a quiet place to relax at the end of the day or you can visit the hotel's original 'Buddy's Pub' - a popular meeting place with the locals and a must during your stay.

Rooms: 34 rooms with telephone, cable TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, safe and tea/coffee making facilities (on request). Prices are based on a twin room with bath or shower and wc. The following room types are also available:

• South facing single with bath or shower and wc.

• South facing twin with bath or shower and wc

• Triple with bath or shower and wc (on request)

Stay information: 2 night minimum stay all season

Board Basis: Bed & Breakfast. Generous buffet option with hot and cold options in the Ambience breakfast room. Half Board option available at a supplement includes four course evening meal with choice of main.  Served at Grad Restaurant Schuh (1 minute from hotel).  Speciality dinner options include an Asian buffet, Fondue Chinoise and the opportunity to chocolate fondue once weekly.
