Art, Basel 13-17 June 2012

Montreux Jazz Festival 29 June - 14 July 2012
Dating back to 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has grown into a jazz, blues, rock and soul music event with more than 300 artists and bands performing. Famous names such as Prince, Eric Clapton and Aretha Franklin have all previously appeared at as guests.
Lucerne Festival 24 March-1 April 2012 & 9-15 August 2012
This esteemed event dates back to 1938 and is now held three times annually in the charming medieval centre of Lucerne. Easter, mid-summer and late-autumn welcomes this festival of leading orchestras from around the globe.

Vevey Folk Markets July-August 2012
Every Saturday, the main square in Vevey becomes the venue for a magnificent and vibrant summer market. Lively stalls, folk singers and musicians add to the atmosphere and the local farmers arrive in their traditional attire to sell their local produce.
